The staff at 50 Plus Media Solutions provides multiple solutions in print, online, social media, and video advertising, and associated packages. Our staff includes personnel from our main office or located throughout Northern Colorado. If you have questions about our different operations, please contact the appropriate person listed below. Robert Trembly II, CEO & Publisher

Robert Trembly

Robert Trembly is the CEO of 50 Plus Media Solutions, Inc and publisher of 50 Plus Marketplace News. He attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Robert came to Boulder in 1962 and managed The Lamp Post Restaurant. During this time, he attended the University of Colorado, where he studied Finance and Marketing and graduated with honors in 1970.

Robert joined AC Nielsen and Company in New York City as an administrative trainee and proceeded to Executive Vice President, Client Service in the publishing division. He had responsibility for publications throughout the United States and oversight for operations in Ireland. In 1989, Robert retired and became a professional Volunteer, Senior Advocate, Bridge Player and Ballroom Dancer.

Robert soon decided that retirement was too challenging and started Seniors Marketplace News, Inc (now 50 Plus Market Place News). This popular senior newspaper has become the largest 50 Plus resource with four editions in 16 Front Range Colorado counties. He works with many national trade show organizers, B2B customers, and advertising agencies on advertising solutions, and provides sales, marketing, and administrative support for his organization.

Robert is a member of the Better Business Bureau in Denver/Boulder and Northern Colorado chapters, Colorado Press Association, Northern Colorado Business Report, Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce, and the Colorado Gerontological Society. He also volunteers on several committees for different organizations in the Denver and Boulder Metro areas.

Michael Gumb, Chief Financial Officer:

Mic Gumb 2014

Michael (Mic) Gumb received his Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley and his Master’s in Accounting from Colorado State University in Fort Colins. Mic worked previously as Controller and CFO for National Hirscfield and CFO for Armada Cable. He is owner of his own Certified Public Accountant company in Denver.

As a seasoned and accomplished financial leader Mic serves as our Chief financial Officer. With over 20 years experience in mitigating risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and excelling within rapidly changing environments, he has a passion for building lasting business relationships and improving communication across company lines.

Mic joined 50 Plus Marketplace News in 1996 and provides executive financial support for the 50 Plus organization as needed.

Mic also operates his own CPA firm in Denver.

Bob Larson, Marketing Director, Exec Producer, and Media Consultant:

Robert (Bob) Larson has multiple degrees in engineering, marketing, and management. Bob received his Engineering Degree from North American Technical Institute in Albuquerque. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from National University in San Diego and an Executive MBA degree from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles.

Bob worked for Motorola Inc. for 28 years as a systems engineer, sales engineer, sales management, marketing management, and business development. He started his own manufacturing company in various consumer products for five years. Bob was Vice President and Sales Manager for Transmarket Companies (marketing and distributing electronic consumer products) in Dallas. He was also a broadcast engineer for the Burroughs Broadcast Group in Albuquerque.

Bob joined 50 Plus Marketplace News as an Account Manager in 2010, where he worked with advertisers in Fort Collins and the surrounding area on finding the right advertising solution and developing their advertising campaign for our newspaper.

As Marketing Director, Bob is responsible for creating new advertising solutions for the B2B and B2C markets, provides sales support and training the sales personnel, and manages both our video production, websites, and social media pages. As the Key Account Manager, Bob works with corporate customers across the U.S. in providing advertising solutions. He additionally writes a technology column for all four editions on a monthly basis.

As Executive Video Producer, Bob has over 15 years of video production in videography, script writing, and editing. He started his videography career at Motorola in 1985 creating employee training videos. He regularly records and edits monthly documentary videos for his genealogical society since 2007 and produces various video promos for 50 Plus since 2011.

Bob volunteers for Larimer County Genealogical Society in Fort Collins as their Education, Web, & Video Committees Chair, and genealogy instructor, and library volunteer besides being their past president. He is past president and currently webinar chair for the Colorado Council of Genealogical Societies in Denver. He is also a member of the Northern Colorado Amateur Radio Club.

Kit Brown, Graphics Design & Production Manager:

Lynne Poole

Kit brown joined the 50 Plus team in 2022 as the graphics designer, production manager, and backup webmaster.
She is responsible for creating print and online ads and producing our four editions of 50 Plus Marketplace News each month. Kit also creates our media kit and flyers for customers and trade shows.

Kit worked as a graphics designer and production manager for several other printing companies in Northern Colorado. She has a degree in computer & graphics design.
